So not what you expect after watching the trailer. The first ten or so minutes promise a Bourne-esque thriller starring a teenage girl, but then things gradually shift into what could best be described as something French. Weird, comedic antagonists enter, dialogue turns into overly dramatised staccato, and scenes start to focus more on picturing the characters in artsy but oh so contrived poses and/or milieus than actually making sense. Lead role and Bana are good, Blanchett overdoes it.
